See Teens Give is a 5-week youth leadership and fundraising program that helps Central Texas teens build a lifelong habit of giving by teaching civic engagement and guiding students to fundraise for a cause on Amplify Austin Day.

Hosted with Generation SERVE, See Teens Give equips teens with community service hours, giving education, and a fundraising plan, ending with real impact through Amplify Austin Day.

  • Is this for me?

    See Teens Give is for students who want to do something that matters, not just talk about it. It is a strong fit for teens who care about their community, want leadership experience they can feel proud of, and are ready to practice showing up for a cause beyond school requirements. No “perfect resume” needed. Curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to share the mission with friends and family are what make the experience powerful.

    Parents and guardians should also expect a program that balances inspiration with real responsibility, including consent requirements for minors.

    Parental consent is required for minors.

  • What to Expect

    This program begins with a kick-off dinner and then runs as a five-week experience with guided weekly activities that build knowledge of giving, civic engagement, and community impact. Each student sets up and promotes a fundraising page, then turns their learning into action by fundraising for a cause they love on Amplify Austin Day. 

    Students who complete the program receive:
    - 20 community service hours
    - Program t-shirt
    - Letter of recommendation
    - Certificate of completion
    - Prizes, including ACL Festival passes for top fundraising performance

    See Teens Give is built on a simple belief: generosity is not reserved for a certain age, income, or status. When teens learn how local change happens, practice asking others to join them, and follow through on a real fundraising goal, they build confidence and community connection that lasts far beyond one campaign. 

Ways to Participate

For Individuals

Teens can apply to join the next cohort, attend the kick-off dinner, complete the weekly activities, and fundraise on AmplifyATX.org for a cause they care about. Parental consent is required for minors.

For Businesses

Support youth civic leadership by sponsoring the program, providing prizes, or underwriting the student experience. A partnership helps remove barriers for teen participation while visibly investing in the next generation of local changemakers.

Become a cause that teens rally behind. When students choose a mission to fundraise for, they introduce nonprofits to new families, new donors, and new advocates, while learning how local organizations create change.
