CASA Superhero Run (7:00 am - 10:30 am)
Because “every child needs a hero, but abused children need superheroes,” CASA is hosting our 5th annual 5K, the CASA Superhero Run, complete with a chip-timed 5K race, Kids’ 1K and many chances for our participants to become their own superhero: obstacle courses, photobooth with superhero attire, healthy snacks fit for the strongest hero, a superhero costume contest and a chance for everyone to get their own superhero name and symbol. The CASA Superhero Run serves as a chance for CASA to publicly honor all of our own superheroes, our CASA volunteer advocates, while offering a fun day for families and a professionally-organized race for the Austin running community.

HAAM Benefit Day (All Day)
HAAM Benefit Day is a uniquely Austin event where businesses donate 5% of the day's proceeds to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians to support musicians' health. Musicians, most of whom are HAAM members, perform throughout the day at retail stores, outside stages, City Hall and more. The event runs from 6am to well past midnight and community members are invited to shop, eat out, listen to great live music and enjoy!

Community Needs Spotlight: Affordable Housing (12:00 - noon - 1:00 pm)
Each month, I Live Here, I Give Here facilitates a community spotlight panel to shed light on issues that affect Central Texas nonprofits. Experts in the field are invited to serve on the panel, and share their perspectives and experiences on the selected topic. The community spotlight panel is held during lunch at 98 San Jacinto. Participants include experts on the issue--agencies that provide services--and the recipients of those services. Lunch and a piggy bank that you can fill and share with your favorite local non-profit are provided for $10. All spotlight panels are held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
