Non-Profit Excellence Institute

The Non-Profit Excellence Institute is a nine-month interactive course of study for your Executive Director, Development Director and a Board Member.  With over 48 total classroom hours, participants will be educated in the following:

1. Outline the role and importance of INDIVIDUALS in development efforts – as donors, volunteer leaders, and active participants in fundraising.
2. Develop an Annual Fund Plan specifically for your organization. Your plan will be reviewed and feedback and suggested refinements will be provided.
3. Provide first-hand practice techniques for effective discovery conversations with donor prospects and current donors.
4. Engage participants to understand better the unique and complimentary roles of staff and volunteer leadership in the development and execution of your Annual Fund Plan.

The program involves activities between sessions, homework readings, sharing ideas among other nonprofits and discussion opportunities to engage professional and volunteer leadership in fostering a high performing culture of philanthropy.

Non-Profit Excellence Maintenance Institute

The Non-Profit Excellence Institute Maintenance program is designed to provide additional support and assistance to nonprofit organizations that have successfully completed the Nonprofit Excellence Institute training.

During the maintenance program participants have the opportunity to do the following:

1. Inventory and assess the strengths and weaknesses of their annual plan
2. Identify strategies that help event attendees move to loyal donors
3. Identify strategies that will help volunteers become loyal financial donors
4. Cultivate relationships with other nonprofits in order to share best practices
